The company has also commissioned and premiered a number of contemporary works including Bolero, choreographed by Beth Fritz-Logrea and Nicholas Logrea, Concerti Vivaldi, by up-and-coming choreographer David Fernandez, and The Glenn Miller Swing Nutcracker, choreographed by Mary Jane Houdina.  Houdina, who won the Barrymore Award in 1998 for her choreography in Crazy for You, has danced in and choreographed eleven Broadway shows and was associate choreographer for the original production of Annie.
